Education in the Department of Theater Arts is supported by collaborations and project partnerships, research projects, festivals and workshops at national and international levels. In this regard, it is aimed for students to graduate with a strong educational background by benefiting from a wide range of courses for four years, including theoretical courses, basic acting courses, courses to improve their physical awareness, as well as workshops carried out by expert educators and directors. The first four semesters of the Department of Theater Arts curriculum include compulsory and mainly applied courses. After the successful completion of these courses, starting from the third and fourth grades, the aim is for students to develop their professional skills by experiencing the technical knowledge and different perspectives they have acquired through stage practices open to the audience.
