Graduate School | Department of Art History

The Department of Art History was established in 2000. In this department, students learn about Byzantine Art, Turkish and Islamic Art, Western Art and Contemporary Art and can focus more specifically on one of these time periods. The department was established with the aim of providing students with a broad perspective on art history. The graduates of this program can find career opportunities in academic research areas, libraries, archieves, museums and palaces, and also join archeological excavations.
