Faculty of Education | Department of Foreign Language Education

Department of Foreign Language Education started education in 1982. Currently, the department includes the Program in English Language Teaching, Program in English Language Teaching IJDP-SUNY Cortland Dual Diploma, Program in German Language Teaching, and Program in French Language Teaching. The department has 9 full professors, 9 associate professors, 11 assistant professors, lecturers and research assistants. The department aims at training competent teachers in the field of foreign language teaching. The graduates of the Department of Foreign Language Education can work as foreign language teachers at public and private schools affiliated to the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Turkey, or as academics in the relevant departments of universities.
