Faculty of Education | Department of Fine Arts Education

The Department started education in academic year 1985-1986 in the Faculty of Education, and in time it has completed its establishment under the two main areas Arts and Graphic Design. After the restructuring of Education Faculties by the Council of Higher Education, the department was renamed as the Department of Fine Arts Education in the 1998-1999 academic year. There are seven professor, two lecturer dr., one teaching assistant and 2 research assistants in the department. The academic staff is equipped with effective artistic approaches and guide students to take part in contemporary art events. Visual arts provide people with the opportunity to share a multilingual world in which they can understand one another. With this perspective, this programme aims to teach students this multilingual approach so that students who are trained in arts can perceive and appreciate the artistic and aesthetic values all over the world.
