Yunus Emre Vocational School | Department of Database, Network Design and Management

The Department of Database, Network Design and Management offers a two-year associate degree programme that trains mid-level professionals (technicians) in the fields of information technology infrastructure, network system installation, data security and the management of digital and telehealth systems.

The "Digital Health Systems Technician Programme" within this department aims to train qualified technicians capable of installing, integrating and ensuring the effective use of electronic health record systems, hospital information management systems and other digital health applications used in healthcare institutions. Graduates of the programme will possess the knowledge and skills to collect, process and securely store health data; manage electronic health records (such as e-Nabız, HBYS and MHRS); integrate medical devices and systems; and utilise basic software and hardware applications.

Graduates have employment opportunities in public and private hospitals, health informatics units, companies manufacturing medical devices and software, private health insurance companies, organisations providing remote healthcare services, and institutions and organisations conducting R&D in the health sector.
