The Architectural Drafting Program is a two-year associate degree program for hearing-impaired students. The aim of the program is to train technical staff who can make computer-based technical drawings and models of building projects. The education in the department is tailored to the needs of hearing-impaired students. The department provides courses, such as; Architectural Presentation, Building Construction, Computer Aided Drafting, Architectural Application Project, Architectural Modeling. By taking these courses, students gain knowledge and necessary skills to be employed in various work environments, concerning architecture. The courses are carried out in specially designed language classrooms, modelling workshop and computer labs, where computer-aided drawing and three-dimensional modeling software are used, and each student in these labs we assigned a computer. Teaching and learning process in the program is further supported with visual and technological means.

Education in the Architectural Drafting Program is provided by faculty staff who have experience in the education of hearing-impaired students and carried out scientific research on this subject. Academic staff is consisted of 1 Assoc. Prof. Dr., 1 Assist. Prof. Dr., and 2 Instructors. In addition to the field specific courses, various Turkish language courses are included in the curriculum in order to improve students' daily and professional language skills. These courses are conducted by the faculty members whose field of study is special education.

There is a compulsory office internship for 30 days in the program. With this internship, students gain work experience and learn to cope with the problems they may encounter in their professional career. Career planning activities are carried out to prepare students who will graduate from the Architectural Drafting Program for professional life. Through the cooperation with İŞKUR, it is ensured that students make qualified applications for their employment. Trips and interviews are organized to introduce the workplaces, where students can work.

Graduates of Architectural Drafting Program can be employed in private architecture and engineering offices, architecture and planning departments of Municipalities, and related departments of government agencies, and such work environments.
