  • To be able to explain the developments that started the digital age, the historical development of digital photography, the historical development of digital video and the development of smartphones and their impact on photography.
  • To be able to explain digital compact cameras and their types, features of DSLR and DSLR “Full Frame” cameras, Mirrorless camera technologies.
  • Comparing mirrorless camera technologies with DSLR and distinguishing the features of medium format digital cameras.
  • To be able to describe the transition process of video cameras from analog to digital, the working principles of digital video cameras and the technical process of image production, the concept and scope of digital audio and other equipment, the types of digital video cameras, their current technologies and their differences from each other.
  • Explaining the working principles of computers and monitors, using scanners and printers, explaining the logic of color production, recognizing and arranging the calibration processes, distinguishing and arranging materials, and preparing and managing the workflow.
  • Being able to explain modes and their features such as Auto (Auto), Program Mode (P), Shutter Priority (S), Aperture Priority (A), Manual (M) and Bulb Mode (B) in digital cameras, Exposure Triangle, Aperture, Shutter Speed Expressing ISO Speed, Exposure Compensation and Ready Scening Modes, Explaining the concepts of Light Metering, Depth of Field, Focusing, Histogram, White Balance, Customizing Initial Setup Options, Shooting Options and other settings.
  • To be able to explain the basic qualifications and physical features that photography studios should have, the functions of photography studios by listing the types of funds used, the equipment used in photography studios, their functions and the staff working in the studio and their job descriptions.
  • To be able to explain the basic digital image/video formats, the basic functions of image/video processing software, the general features of color management in digital photography and the general features of the management of image files on the Internet.
