Student will be able to recognize the Cretan and Mycenean Civilizations which provided a basis to the Ancient Greek Civilization.
Student will be able to understand the basic character and elements of Ancient Greek Civilization.
Student will be able to explain the origin of democracy and policy concepts besides their provision in Ancient Greek societies.
Student will have opinion about Alexander the Great, Hellenistic Age and Hellenistic Kingdoms and will be able to comprehend the characteristics of Hellenistic Period.
Student will be able to comprehend the basic characteristic of Roman Civilization and its basic elements.
Student will be able to comprehend the temporal limits of Late Antiquitiy.
Student will be able to analyse the fall / transformation of Roman Empire.
Student will be able to understand the changes/transformations took place in social structure and culture of city states during the Late Antiquity.
Student will be able to comprehend the extent of the intercultural interaction in Mediterranean World that also comprise Anatolia; and will be able to explain the meaning of "Cultural Heritage" concept.
