  • Student will explain the newspapers, events and political developments that left their mark in the first years of The Republic in the history of the Turkish press.
  • Student explains the reasons for the events and phenomena related to the history of the press after 1920 and will beable to explain its effects on journalism.
  • Student will be able to define the role of the press in the formation of the Republican regime.
  • Student will be able to interpret the events and facts related to the history of the press, the Law of Maintenance and the Transition to Latin Letters in the Press, within the conditions of the historical period.
  • The student will be able to deal with the events and developments related to the Turkish press history together with The Single Party Period.
  • Student will be able to discuss The effect of Turkish Press on society and political parties in the The World War II and the Multi-Party Period.
  • Student will be able to compare the communication of the press with the capital groups from the Multy-Party Period to the present.
  • Student will be able to crticize the crurrent situation and legal regulations in todays's media.
