The course will cover the mathematical tools that make use of Neoclassical Economics. The course will first be repeated with a basic mathematical concept. Next will be focused on mathematical methods related to linear algebra, analysis and optimization. The economic applications of these methods will be discussed. It is important to emphasize that almost all of the concepts that students learn in this course will be used in models related to microeconomics and macroeconomics. |
