The Information Technology Law and Ethics course teaches the legal and ethical frameworks in information technology. Students learn about intellectual property rights, privacy and data protection laws, cybersecurity regulations, and compliance issues. Ethical theories, freedom of access to information, and ethical issues in data collection and use are addressed. Internet governance, ethical decision-making, and professional responsibilities are examined. The course reinforces information technology law and ethics applications through case studies and industry examples. |
