This course guides students through the entire 2D game development process: working with game engines and tools, 2D graphic design–animation and sprite/character creation, establishing core gameplay with game physics and level design. Students improve progression and balancing through rapid prototyping and testing cycles; they enrich the experience by adding sound design and music. The process is completed by iterating based on user experience feedback and presenting and evaluating a playable 2D game prototype. |
