Week - 2 Descriptions about the terminology. The differences and similarities of Social Policy with social welfare, social care, working conditions, society and the state. Explaining the historical development of Social Policy and its principles
Week - 3 The importance of social policies. Financing the social policies. Basic instruments of social policy: Social planning, social security systems, industrial relation systems. Themes and issues in international perspective. National and international characters of social policies
Week - 4 An approach to Social Policy from a different perspective for comparing the differences and the similarities with the relative social disciplines
Week - 5 Historical development of social policy. The Industrial Revolution: before and after. The technical and social circumstances of the Industrial Revolution.
Week - 6 The economical systems, social structures and laws during the Industrial Revolution. The development of social policies in counties that Industrial Revolution occurs.
Week - 7 Midterm
Week - 8 The historical development of social policies in Turkey. Comparison of the pre-Republic and Republican periods. Social policy, development of similarities between Turkey and the Industrial Revolution in the country you live in and discussion of the differences questioned.
