1 Has knowledge of the historical development, aesthetic principles, philosophical foundations and cultural context of Traditional Turkish Arts.
2 Knows the basic concepts, terminology, motifs, patterns, forms, composition principles and art/design principles specific to the field.
3 Has knowledge and skills regarding the materials, tools, techniques and application methods used in Traditional Turkish Arts.
4 Has fundamental knowledge of the preservation, storage, documentation, restoration and conservation of traditional artworks.
5 Relates art history, research methods, artistic criticism and artwork analysis approaches to the field.
6 Produces original or adapted artistic/design works by using traditional techniques through the integration of theory and practice.
7 Transforms abstract and concrete concepts into artistic production through creative thinking, aesthetic sensitivity and multidimensional perception.
8 Uses digital design, presentation, documentation, information and communication technologies required by the field.
9 Works in a planned, responsible and productive manner both individually and as part of a group in artistic and design project processes.
10 Relates Traditional Turkish Arts to other disciplines of art, design and cultural heritage, and follows national and international art environments.
