Anadolu University (AU) and SUNY Empire State College (ESC) are in charge of running this program. The program has been accepting students since 2010. Both institutions issue their own diplomas. Both universities provide transcripts of courses from both institutions. Transcripts cover the lessons learned from both institutions.

The language of instruction is English. To be admitted to the program, students are required to score at least TOEFL (PBT) 550, TOEFL (iBT) 74, and TOEFL (CBT) 213. An IELTS score of 6.0 or higher is also accepted. Those who are not proficient in English will be educated in the Anadolu University English Preparatory Program. It is necessary to get at least 60 points to pass the preparatory class at Anadolu University. Students are allowed up to two years to complete the preparatory program. Students study at the Anadolu University Yunus Emre Campus (Eskişehir). Students who fail in the preparatory class for two years can be placed in a higher education program in Turkey by ÖSYM according to their university placement score and preference, or if they are successful in one of the three exam rights within three years, they can enroll in the program again.

To succeed in the courses that Empire State University determined to be taken from Anadolu University, students must receive at least a CD grade. Moreover, at the start of the seventh semester, students must have the language proficiency required by Empire State University (TOEFL or IELTS).The tuition fee will be determined at the beginning of the semester for the Anadolu University English Preparatory Program. In addition, after passing the preparatory program, students are required to obtain the language score (TOEFL or IELTS) required by Empire State University until the beginning of the 7th semester. Optionally, students can take a maximum of two courses in the summer school in the USA or in contracted European countries. The student pays for expenses such as books, accommodation, transportation, etc. during the summer school. Students who are accepted to the international joint undergraduate program and want to attend summer school in the USA or Europe are obliged to obtain the necessary visa.

Admission to the programme is based on the relevant higher education legislation and the central placement procedures administered by the Centre for Assessment, Selection and Placement (ÖSYM). Candidates who are offered a place in the programme must complete their registration within the deadlines announced in the University's academic calendar and registration announcements, in accordance with the applicable legislation. To complete final registration, candidates must satisfy all general and programme-specific admission requirements. Admission through horizontal transfer is conducted in accordance with the relevant legislation and the principles established by the relevant academic unit. The application and admission procedures for international students are carried out in accordance with the applicable legislation.
Specific Admission Requirements: The students have to take the exam prepared and administered by the Measuring, Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM) and also get the required score (equally weighted score including secondary education achievement score). This program is a 4-year undergraduate program jointly administered by Anadolu University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences and SUNY Empire State College. The entire program, except for the optional summer school in the USA, will be conducted at Anadolu University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences in Turkey. The courses in the program will be taught face-to-face by the faculty members of Anadolu University and SUNY Empire State College. Some of the courses will be supported by e-learning method and are intended to improve students' computer and internet usage skills. The tuition fee for Anadolu University English Preparatory Program is 15,000 TL per year; 15,000 TL for the first year; 15,000 TL for the second year; 8,000 TL for the third year and 8,000 TL for the fourth year. Tuition fees have been determined for the 2024-2025 academic year, and any increases in tuition fees that may occur in the coming years will be announced to the students before the beginning of each academic year, and all students, regardless of the year of entry, will be subject to the new tuition fees to be announced for that year. Payments to Anadolu University are made in Turkish Lira, while Empire State College fees are paid in US dollars.The fee for each credit students will receive from Empire State University will be 300 USD. Students will take a total of 31 credits until graduation. They will also pay a technology fee of 185 USD each semester they take classes, a one-time application fee of 50 USD, and a graduation fee of 315 USD upon graduation.

Recognition of prior learning is carried out in accordance with the relevant higher education legislation, the University's regulations governing education, examinations and assessment, and the institutional principles for exemption and credit transfer. Students may apply, within the specified deadlines, for exemption and credit transfer based on courses successfully completed at another higher education institution or on equivalent prior learning. Applications are evaluated by the relevant board or commission with due consideration of course content, credit/ECTS values, grades obtained, and their compatibility with the curriculum and learning outcomes of the relevant programme.
Depending on the degrees awarded, theoretical or practical courses taken as part of a degree (completed or not completed) may lead to recognition of these as prior learning by the program administration. Students who have taken courses at another institution in Turkey or abroad can ask for credit and a grade transfer. The executive boards of relevant programs will decide on the courses to be transferred, covering students' entire academic program once and for all, with the condition that the request for transfer be made within the first week of the academic year; the requests cannot be repeated.

All students enrolled at Anadolu University are assigned a faculty academic advisor to provide guidance and support throughout their studies. Academic advisors offer counselling from the beginning of the student's academic programme until graduation, assisting students with academic, administrative, and other matters related to university life. In particular, advisors provide guidance during course registration and course selection processes, monitor students' academic progress, and support them in making informed decisions regarding their educational pathways.

The programme is delivered in face-to-face / blended mode. Students are enrolled on the programme as (full-time / part-time) students. Teaching and learning activities are conducted in accordance with the programme curriculum, including the semester structure, scheduled class hours, practical components, and, where applicable, online learning environments.

A variety of assessment methods such as mid-term(s), assignment(s), exercise(s), project(s), practice(s), and a final exam are implemented in the programme. Assessment methods may include classical test(s), multiple-choice test(s), homework(s), performance evaluation(s), and product evaluation(s). In order to graduate from the programme, cumulative GPA must be minimum 2.00. A course grade is constituted by evaluating the above stated elements and given by using letters. Assessment and grading are mostly based on mid-term and final examinations. Many instructors also adopt assignments, quizzes, and other assessment methods. The decision on the methods that will be adopted for a specific course is made by the instructor. A student is required to successfully complete the designated program of courses meet a minimum of 240 ECTS credit requirement and have a minimum GPA of 2.00/4.00 and no FF, DZ or YZ grades.
Spesific requirements: The language of instruction in this curriculum is English. In order for students to start their undergraduate education, they must score at least 550 on the TOEFL exam (PBT), which determines the English language level; At least 213 points from the computerized TOEFL exam (CBT); they are required to get at least 74 points from the TOEFL exam (IBT) taken online. It is mandatory to get at least a 6 (overall score) on the IELTS exam. Intensive English instruction will be provided at the Anadolu University School of Foreign Languages Preparatory Program for students who fail to meet this requirement. Students who complete the preparatory program with at least 60 points can start their first-year education. A student who fails the preparatory class for two years may be placed by ÖSYM in a higher education program in Turkey whose language of instruction is Turkish and which has the same name if available, or equivalent if not, according to his/her university placement score and preference, or if he/she is successful in one of the three exam rights within three years, he/she can continue his/her own department again. In addition, after passing the preparatory program, students are required to obtain the language score (TOEFL or IELTS) required by Empire State University until the beginning of the 7th semester.The student must have successfully completed all program requirements and not have a grade of FF, DZ, or YZ. In this program, the student must effectively complete at least 240 ECTS credits and have a GPA of at least 2.00 out of 4.00. To succeed in the courses that Empire State University determined to be taken from Anadolu University, students must receive at least a CD grade.

To be awarded a Bachelor's Degree, students must successfully complete all compulsory and elective courses specified in the curriculum of the programme in which they are enrolled, together with any required internship, practical training, project, or other academic requirements. To qualify for graduation, students must successfully complete at least 240 ECTS credits, have no failed courses, achieve the minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA) specified in the relevant regulations (at least 2.00 on a 4.00 scale), and fulfil all other graduation requirements prescribed by the programme.
A student is required to successfully complete the designated curriculum with the completion of minimum 240 ECTS credits and have a minimum GPA of 2.00/4.00 without FF, DZ or YZ grades. To succeed in the courses that Empire State University determined to be taken from Anadolu University, students must receive at least a CD grade. Moreover, at the start of the seventh semester, students must have the language proficiency required by Empire State University (TOEFL or IELTS).

Students who successfully fulfil all programme requirements are awarded a Bachelor's Degree Diploma in Program in Business Administration (DDP with SUNY ESC) Graduates obtain a Level 6 (Bachelor's Degree) qualification within the Turkish Qualifications Framework (TQF).

The fundamental education philosophy of the Department of Business Administration is to provide quality knowledge that is compatible with the needs of the changing business environment and to emphasize the global perspective in a contemporary and developed educational setting. Business education brings a broad vision of business management, business functions, and decision-making. The graduates of our department work at various management levels in the public and private sectors. They may work in functional departments such as marketing, sales, accounting, finance, auditing, production planning, and human resources. Training our students as the future's entrepreneurs is also a purpose of the business department. This program intends to include all kinds of practical and theoretical aspects of the field of study, and it aims to train qualified human resources required by the business world to equip students with analytical thinking skills in management, accounting/finance, marketing, and human resources to furnish students with the skills needed in middle and top management positions and in starting their own business as skilled entrepreneurs.

Graduates of the programme are eligible to apply for Master's Degree programmes (with or without a thesis) in accordance with the relevant legislation governing graduate education and the admission requirements of the receiving higher education institution.
