Under favour of technology, visual design tools have swiftly developed and this situation has led to change the understanding of design and caused creation of new approaches. In accordance with these changes Visual Design Communication Programme has aimed to use suitable visual language and find solution to the problems.The programmes aim is to train designers who can link theoretical and practical knowledge and follow social and artistic changes. During the programme, in line with the targets set by the individual and the group, organisation of national and international exhibition, participation to the competitions and festivals is targeted. Visual Design Communication Programme also aimed to be a member of national and international institutions, arrange student exchange programmes and organisation of artistic events.

The mission of the Visual Communication Design Department is to understand the problems of visual communication design and to train qualified human resources in this field. aims to train designers.

Vision of Visual Communication Design Department; To educate students who have the ability to produce scientific, innovative, original and universal creative products that follow technology in the fields of visual arts and design. In the next few years, it is planned to be known internationally both for its qualified graduates and its academic staff. It is expected that our students who will graduate from the department will perform important studies both in the sector and in the academic field.
