The Department of Pharmacology was established in 1987 at the Faculty of Pharmacy and since 1993 has contributed to the graduate and doctoral education of the institute. There are lessons in the field of pharmacology, which examine the effects of drugs on living organisms, in relation to the topic in postgraduate education. Neuropharmacology and neuropsychopharmacology research and molecular pharmacology research are among the scientific research activities of our department, as well as research on the mechanism of action of the compounds of the candidate drugs and the drugs currently available from natural and synthetic sources. Currently, there are 5 full-time professors, 2 associate professors and 3 research assistants. Decisions about the department that is being administered by a president are taken at the department board, which is made up of all academic members of the department.
