Pharmaceutical Technology deals with formulation of drugs, the quality assurance in production that supplies all the steps and the input control and to eliminate problems which are produced drug forms, bioavailability and stability of the particular active ingredient release systems, drug targeting and drug systems features changeable supply and auxiliary materials, determining characteristics and improvement, with the development of new drug delivery systems. It is also called Galenic Pharmacy after Galen of Pergamum who was regarded as the founder of pharmacy.
