The Master’s Program in Lifelong Learning and Adult Education is a graduate program that aims to educate specialists who can examine lifelong learning processes throughout individuals’ lives from both theoretical and practical perspectives, conduct scientific research in the field of adult learning, and develop innovative educational practices for diverse learning environments. The program adopts a holistic approach by addressing areas such as lifelong learning, adult learning theories, instructional design, learning technologies, artificial intelligence applications in education, and research methods, thereby providing students with an interdisciplinary perspective. Within the scope of the program, students develop competencies in analyzing the characteristics of adult learners, evaluating lifelong learning policies and practices, designing technology-supported learning environments, and conducting scientific research related to educational processes. Conducted with a research-oriented graduate education approach, the program enables students to establish strong connections between theory and practice and to contribute to the production of scientific knowledge in the field of adult education. Graduates of the program are expected to acquire the knowledge and skills required to take roles in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of lifelong learning activities carried out in educational institutions, public organizations, non-governmental organizations, and the private sector.
