LO-1	TİY301 DRAMATURGY III\n(5.SOMESTRE 2+0 AKTS 5.0) \n\nOBJECTIVE:\nThe objective of this course is to enable students to acquire skills required to read, evaluate and interpret theatre plays methodologically before they are staged, and to enable them to practice these skills using typical plays selected from different periods of the history of theatre. \nAt the end of this course the student will be able to\n1. Acquire methodological knowledge required to analyze a play\n1.1.Acquire knowledge of contemporary methods used in play analysis\n1.2.Examine examples of plays under the guidance of course instructor\n1.3.Acquire the skills required to read, evaluate and interpret a play methodologically on their own\n2. Deepen and enhance their points of view by examining typical examples of plays included in different movements and trends of the history of theatre in the 19th century\n\n2.1.Learn basic dramaturgical characteristics of each period in the 19th century \n2.2. Examine how the dramaturgy of each period reflects on typical plays produced in the given period in the 19th century \n\n3. Tiyatro tarihinin farklı dönemlerinden seçilen tiyatro oyunları günümüz seyircisi için değerlendirilirken yapılacak değişiklikleri yapma yetisi kazanır.\n3.1.Examine reflections on plays of socioeconomic and cultural causes playing a role in the development of theatre movements and trends in the 19th century\n3.2.Evaluate socioeconomic and cultural features of today’s theatre audience\n3.3.
