Weeks Topics
Week - 1 An overview of Musical Formation education in terms of principles, categories, methods, application and evaluation.
Week - 2 Review of oral and written musical formation fields.
Week - 3 Preliminary preparation on one of the areas of oral study such as reading with/without accompaniment, rhythm/polyrhythm, reading score, playing reading, transposition: A review of previous material and related repertoire.
Week - 4 Planning and elaborating the chosen oral study area in terms of the targeted grade level and the details of the application to be made in the classroom by discussing it with the classroom teacher.
Week - 5 Realization of the selected oral work practice.
Week - 6 Discussion of the results of observation and evaluation regarding the application.
Week - 7 Preliminary work on one of the written fields of study such as music theory, dictation, analysis on score and analysis by listening: A review of previous material and related repertoire.
Week - 8 Planning and elaboration of the selected written study area in terms of the targeted grade level and the details of the application to be made in the classroom by discussing it with the classroom teacher.
Week - 9 Realization of the selected written work practice.
Week - 10 Determination of the end-of-semester individual application project.
Week - 11 Further observations on oral and written Musical Formation studies and discussion of their results.
Week - 12 Participation in year-end exam planning meetings and contribution to the determination of oral exam programs.
Week - 13 Participation in year-end exam planning meetings and contribution to the determination of written exam programs.
Week - 14 Presentation of the end-of-semester individual application project.
