Week - 1 Description of Ceramic, brief history, basic concepts. Application: Laboratory, glaze room, kiln room and use of the devices contained here in regarding matters to be considered and carried out practical information about the venues.
Week - 2 Classification of ceramic clays/products. Raw materials of clay and their properties. Application. Examples of ceramic products.
Week - 3 The applied tests to raw materials and ceramic products. Application
Week - 4 Grinding in ceramic , preparation of clay. Application
Week - 5 Techniques of forming, drying, drying methods and issues to be considered. Visual presentation on preparing the clay and forming techniques. Application
Week - 6 Midterm Exam
Week - 7 Answered of exam questions, until this week with all the issues and answer oral questions to be repeated. Application
Week - 8 Firing in ceramic. Firing materials and features that should be helpful. The introduction of different firing techniques. Application
Week - 9 Description of glaze, classification of glaze, Seger formula and solution. Application: Glazed examples of transparent, opaque, matte, samples of glazes with different structures, colors they give different results as applied in the evaluation of cause-effect relationships.
Week - 10 Raw materials of glaze and their properties. Application: Seger formulas and solutions, weighing, application.
Week - 11 Preparation and applications of glazes. Presentation of glazing methods. The glaze was applied to comparative evaluation of the trial. Application
Week - 12 Visual presentation of glazes which used in the art work and information. Application
Week - 13 Delivery of an assignment report about examples
Week - 14 Belonging to different firing techniques and visual presentation using these techniques with examples of ceramic products firing in cause-effect relationships to be handled. Application
