Delivering general informatons about designing by emphasizing the concept of 'innovative' design. |

Week - 2 |
Brainstorming in the classroom about new suggestions in designing. The student creates his/her own design suggestion and delivers a "design report". |

Week - 3 |
One concept related to the general principles of design is selected and assigned as a seminar topic. The student formulates and answers questions regarding the design proposal and prepares design sketches. After completing the initial sketch, the student develops a visual representation of the design, refines the sketch, and proceeds to the production stage. |

Week - 4 |
The process progresses from design to model and prototype development. Plaster and 3D printed applications are prepared and transferred to the mold-making stage. According to the selected production method, studies are carried out to obtain two identical prototype products. |

Mid-Term Examination: Evaluation of the model and drawing similarity.

Seminar topics are assigned on subjects such as ergonomics, design constraints, innovative design, the relationship between form and function, and auxiliary materials in design. |
