  • recognise and determine the insect species that are used in forensic studies.
  • recognise the insect groups that are directly or indirectly in relation with the corpses.
  • evaluate nutrition habits and interactions of insect species.
  • evaluate developmental stages and successions of insects on the corpses and use this for the clarification of forensic cases.
  • solve the problems about the time and reason of death by using insects.
  • determine the species that can be useful to solve the problem.
