Understands the major psychopathologies in DSM-V.
Identification of Psychological Disorders: Students will learn fundamental concepts in the field of psychopathology and be able to recognize different psychological disorders. Understanding Diagnostic and Classification Systems: Students will comprehend how diagnostic systems such as DSM and ICD are used and understand their place in psychopathology. Etiology of Disorders: Students will analyze the causes and risk factors of psychological disorders from a biopsychosocial perspective. Evaluating Treatment Approaches: Students will critically examine treatment methods for psychological disorders (therapy, medication, etc.) and compare different approaches.
