Objective of this class, besides introducing students to Korean arts; is the find new horizons, to discover and understand artistic connections, imagine new possibilities in arts, creativity, and even in marketing. Help build cultural bridges between the young artists of these two nations as well as help inspire our young colleagues who are trying to find their artistic paths and voices.
The program begins with the subjects students are likely more familiar with; mainly Hallyu and especially K-pop. The following weeks will continue with Korean cinema, TV productions, and choice examples of traditional Korean arts.
