  • Will be able to define the organism–environment–homeostasis relationship and explain its role in the development of diseases.
  • Will define the concepts of health and disease and explain the World Health Organization’s definitions of health and disease.
  • Will be able to explain the classification of diseases based on clinical progression (progressive, non-progressive, acute, chronic, lethal, recurrent, etc.)
  • Will be able to classify diseases according to physiological body systems.
