Within the framework of basic methods and simple maqams, the studies focus on developing rhythm perception, note-sound relationship, and slow-tempo sight-reading practice. Students learn to apply phrasing, breath control, and basic ornamentation through short and simple melodies. The course is supported by listening and practical exercises, thus improving the student's ability to decipher reading/playing. |
