# Learning Outcome
LO-1 It explains the basic anatomical and physiological characteristics of the skin, the functions of the skin barrier, and the main goals of dermocosmetic products.
LO-2 This text describes wound healing, burn and scar formation processes, and the properties of wound care products, antiseptics, and topical agents used in these conditions.
LO-3 This section evaluates pharmacological and dermocosmetic approaches used in the treatment of acne, acne scars, pigmentation problems, and photoaging.
LO-4 This text describes the properties and uses of sunscreens and dermocosmetic active ingredients such as retinoids, peptides, niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, and antioxidants.
LO-5 This section evaluates the basic characteristics, usage principles, side effects, and potential complications of botulinum toxin and dermal fillers.
