LO-2	Students will create applications using the basic elements and principles that constitute visual perception. - 1. Knows the principles of basic design. - 2. Knows the elements of basic design. - 3. Knows the types of lines. - 4. Draws patterns using different types of lines. - 5. Completes applications in a clean and organized manner.
LO-3	The student will be able to observe light and shadow on natural and artificial objects and render them on paper using charcoal. - 1. Knowledge of the value scale. - 2. Knowledge of various value scales from light to dark (shading/normal, scribbling, hatching, cross-hatching, stippling). - 3. Ability to draw the light-shadow tonal values of an object on paper.
