# Learning Outcome
LO-1 The student explains the anatomy and physiology of the basic laryngeal structures involved in voice production and defines the neural control mechanisms of voice
LO-2 The student will be able to apply voice assessment methods in various clinical situations (head and neck cancers, laryngectomy, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, psychiatric disorders) and plan appropriate therapy approaches.
LO-3 The student assesses gender dysphonia; develops individualized communication strategies and voice therapy techniques
