This course aims to equip students with knowledge concerning foundational subjects and fundamental conceptual frameworks of political science. In this regard, it discusses fundamental subjects of political science in historical manner since the ancient human societies in a relational manner. Subjects that compose of the course content are chosen as nature of political science, fundamental concepts of political science, the state and political systems, major political ideologies, democracy and government systems, political participation and political institutions as well as political power. |
