The primary goal of this course is to introduce students to the fundamental concepts, significant figures, and themes of mythology and sculpture, examining these elements within historical and cultural contexts while focusing on the artistic expression and interpretation of mythological themes. The content centers on ancient Western mythologies, but neighboring cultures and beliefs, such as Turkish mythology, are also incorporated into the course through contemporary art examples.In terms of methodology, the course adopts a structure enriched with interactive presentations, discussions, projects, and assignments.
