The aim of the course is to explain gender as a concept; to discuss the importance of the gender for feminist theories and adaptation to the media analysis. Firstly feminist theories and then the reflections of these theories on media / communication studies are discussed in the course. Finaly, feminist methodolgy and the way that using media analysis are examined. |
