This course comprehensively covers the architectural principles of integrated and traditional data centers: the interaction between physical infrastructure (servers, storage, networking) and the virtualization layer; the software stack and application services; security, backup/disaster recovery, and policies–governance. Students apply performance monitoring and troubleshooting, operational management tools, monitoring/analytics, and best practices. They also develop enterprise-scale project scenarios using sustainability (energy efficiency, cooling, capacity planning) and innovation (automation, IaC, edge, cloud integration) approaches. |
