This course addresses the concept of ethics and professional ethical principles. The history of ethics, theories, values, and universal principles are examined. Within the framework of engineering ethics, individual-society, nature-environment, colleagues, employer, and customer relationships are discussed. Professional responsibility, integrity, product responsibility, and social impacts are emphasized. In addition, students' professional ethical awareness is developed through TMMOB ethical codes, case studies, group work, and presentations. |
