The objective of this course is to teach students how to extract meaningful and useful information from large data sets on the web. Students will gain knowledge in Introduction to Web Mining, Association Rules, Supervised and Unsupervised Learning techniques, link analysis, web crawling algorithms, and structured data parsing. Additionally, opinion mining, web usage mining, and the analysis of web data using deep learning-based methods will be explored through practical applications. The midterm exam for the course will be held between the 7th and 15th weeks. |
