This course aims to provide students with knowledge on basic web server installation and configuration. The course covers what web servers are, the HTTP protocol and basic concepts, the importance of web servers, and their areas of use. Students will learn about Apache and Nginx servers and practice installation, configuration, and virtual host management. They will also gain practical knowledge on the structure of Nginx configuration files, the basics of SSL/TLS protocols, certificate authorities and certificate types, installing SSL/TLS certificates on Apache and Nginx, redirecting HTTPS traffic, and security measures. |
