Week - 1 Semiotic analysis as a scientific approach : Information about models and approaches.
Week - 2 Information on F. Saussure's doctrine.
Week - 3 The definition of sign by U.Eco, Roland Barthes's approach, introduction of A.J.Greimas's semiotics model (Paris School of Semiotics)
Week - 4 The signs and sign systems in social life will be recorded and discussed
Week - 5 Index structure: showing / showing the relationship, gauge / string relation, code, structure, value, explanation of basic concepts such as linguistic relations, on the samples observations.
Week - 6 Communication and its components: Speaker, / Receiver / Message / Code / Channel / Referent; explanation of the of meaning in linguistic communication.
Week - 7 Disciplines that deal with the meaning (semantics / lexicography, semiotics)
Week - 8 The conditions of meaning construction in a text/ discourse, meaning construction process and analysis of semantic units.
Week - 9 Analytical reading: Observations on meaning in written texts, applied studies.
