The aim of the Sociology PhD program is to provide students with activities that will enable them to theoretically, methodologically and analytically improve themselves, and to receive their degrees with high-quality theses. The program aims to train researchers equipped with critical and analytical thinking, high scientific ethical sensitivity, advanced research design and application skills, and the ability to combine theory and practice. It is aimed to increase and enrich students' theoretical knowledge, mastery of conceptual tools, research design and implementation skills, and proficiency in written and oral communication through courses, seminars and consultancy processes throughout their education. Our students are expected to use these skills to produce original studies that contribute to sociology and society.
