Teaching in the Department of Opera is supported by national and international project partnerships and collaborations, seminars and workshops. In this direction, it is aimed for students to benefit from a wide range of theoretical courses, basic singing courses, courses that can improve their aural and physical awareness, as well as workshops conducted with expert educators and professional opera artists throughout their one-year preparatory and four-year undergraduate education, and to graduate with a strong educational background. The curriculum of the Opera Department includes compulsory and mainly applied courses starting from the preparatory year. After the successful completion of these courses, from the third and fourth year onwards, it is aimed that students develop their professional skills by experiencing the technical knowledge and different perspectives they have acquired through stage practices open to the audience.
