Graduates of the Program in Sociology can be employed in the public and private sector institutions. They can work as experts, project managers and sociologists in private companies’ human resources departments, media organizations, research companies, Ministries of Justice, Internal Affairs, Family and Social Policies, Health and similar institutions. They can also work as sociologists, experts, civil servants, researchers in juvenile detention centers, prisons, homes of children in need of care, and similar organizations. When they obtain necessary certificates, they can receive a family counselor title and pursue an academic career through graduate studies.
