Open Education Faculty | Social Services | Profile of the Programme

Courses are offered in a semester-based system in the Associate Degree Program in Social Services. The period of study is two years in the program. The faculties which are engaged in teaching students according to Anadolu University Central Open Education System have a total of four exams in the fall and spring semesters. Students attend the exams in the city where the bureau they got enrolled is located. Students who graduate from the program earn an “Associate Degree in Social Services” and can work in the field.

Students are required to succeed in all the courses given.

Graduates of this program have the opportunity to transfer to the programs of On-campus and Distance Education Systems according to the provisions of the "Regulation on Transfer to Undergraduate Degree Programs for Graduates of Vocational Schools and Open Education Associate Degree Programs".

The basic learning material for students in the program is textbooks. Television broadcasts related to the courses are also included in the program in order to support the textbooks. Academic counseling (face-to-face training) is offered for some basic courses in the program. Our students can also benefit from e-learning applications (e-books, e-TV, e-exam, e-training and e-consultancy) by taking the internet support service.
