| Profile of the Programme

The Program in Chemical Technology, established in 2009, is a two-year program in which theoretical courses are offered by distance education and laboratory courses are held in the laboratories of the Department of Chemistry during summer school. Theoretical courses offered are taught using books written specifically for distance education and by means of distance learning methods through the internet, including interactive supervising, e-lectures, e-books, e-homework, etc. The program prepares students to work in analysis, quality control, and research and development laboratories in the chemical, environmental and medical fields. It is structured to develop an understanding of the fundamentals of chemistry, instrumental analysis with emphasis on laboratory techniques and applications.
