Faculty of Fine Arts | Department of Glass

The Department of Glass started its education in 2004. With its infrastructure and equipment, it is the first Glass Department in Türkiye, and therefore is unique. The department aims to train glass designers who are equipped with technical, aesthetic and creative design knowledge related to art of glass. The theoretical and practical courses complement each other. Along with the courses offered, the department also aims to enrich the curriculum with extra-curricular activities of seminars, conferances, workshops, field work exhibitions and work placement by getting in touch with national and international education institutions.
