  • Profile of the Programme

The Department of Open and Distance Learning has been offering the Non-Thesis Master’s Program in Distance Education since 2014, with the primary objective of supporting practitioners in the field. The program is designed to equip students with the ability to design, develop, manage, and evaluate distance education practices that are grounded in scientific knowledge, aligned with national and international quality standards, and responsive to diverse needs and contexts, including primary and secondary education, higher education, corporate training, and lifelong learning.

Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in any field to be eligible for admission. Applications should be submitted to the Graduate School of Education at Anadolu University. Student admission takes place at the beginning of the Fall semester. For detailed information regarding admission dates and requirements, please visit lee.anadolu.edu.tr.

The program requires students to successfully complete ten courses. In addition, they must take the Term Project course, which involves the design, implementation, and reporting of a practical application. Within the scope of this project, students are expected to design, produce, and present learning resources ready for publication, such as a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC), a series of educational videos, a radio program, or an interactive e-book. Alongside these outputs, students are also required to prepare a written report and submit a reflective paper evaluating their overall learning experience.
