The guitar program provides education at secondary school, high school, undergraduate, graduate, and art proficiency levels. For the secondary school - beginner level entrance, students are accepted to the program according to the results of the two-stage solfege and instrument exams. For the applications made for the next grades and levels, it is expected that the previous levels before the applied year will be met by the student. The main aim of the department is to train students who are sensitive, experienced, and equipped with scientific knowledge in the field of classical guitar music. In addition, with elective courses such as 20th century Guitar Music, Guitar Concertos, Sight-reading, Contemporary Guitar Music Techniques, Jazz Guitar, Microtonal Guitar, etc., prepared for the needs of the day, students are also introduced to different professional branches related to the guitar field.
