The Distance Education Master's Degree Program with Thesis, which has been offered by the Distance Education Department of Anadolu University Open Education Faculty since 200X, focuses on training both practitioners with scientific knowledge in the field and researchers who are considering an academic career in this field. In other words, the program aims to enable learners to implement distance education practices for different needs and contexts (primary and secondary education, higher education, corporate education, lifelong learning, etc.) in accordance with national and international quality standards and to contribute to the accumulation of scientific knowledge. 

The program has a single educational purpose: 75% of our graduates will continue their education in the field of Open and Distance Learning. 

The program is offered within Anadolu University Graduate School of Education. Student registrations are made at the beginning of the academic year. Please follow the Graduate School web page (lee.anadolu.edu.tr) for application requirements and dates. You can also get information about the programs on our Department website (avuo.anadolu.edu.tr). ALES and Language Scores are effective for enrollment to the program. There is no interview. 

Within the scope of the program, students are required to take and successfully complete 6 compulsory and 4 elective courses and report a thesis study.
