  • explain the relationship between the basic terms and concepts of the archaeology and the other scientific disciplines.
  • explain the basic archaeological terms such as building-culture layer, stratigraphy, context, site, in-situ, and so on.
  • know the instruments and tools used at the excavations.
  • give detailed information on the scientific disciplines contributing to Archaeology, Archaeometry, Anthropology, Paleobotanic, Geomorphology, and so on.
