Anatomy, structures and functioning of swallowing, neuroanatomy and physiology of normal swallowing; classification of swallowing disorders; neurogenic, mechanical, structural swallowing disorders and their causes will be discussed. In addition, clinical evaluation of swallowing disorders including instrumental assessment of swallowing disordersas well as nutrition and diet will be given. Infant, child, adult and geriatric characteristics will be explained and behavioral eating disorders will be coveder. |
